Commonly asked questions regarding Campaign Member Sync
Q: What happens when you add a prospect to an Agent and Campaign Member Sync is enabled?
A: The added prospect will be automatically synced to the connected Salesforce Campaign.
Q: What happens when you remove a prospect from an Agent and Campaign Member Sync is enabled?
A: It depends on how the campaign status is mapped to Regie statuses or activities. Typically, the prospect remains in the Salesforce campaign, but their status is updated.
For example, if a prospect is marked as "Removed" in the AI Agent, and that status is mapped to "Removed" in the Salesforce Campaign Member object, the prospect will still appear in the campaign, but their campaign member status will be updated to "Removed."
Q: What happens when you add a new campaign member in Salesforce, but the prospect does not exist in Regie?
A: It depends on your sync settings:
- If "Sync In members added in Salesforce.com " is not checked: No action is taken.
- If "Sync In members added in Salesforce.com " is checked: The prospect will be automatically added to the AI Agent, even if:
- Their company isn’t included in an account-based agent list.
- They aren't part of any contact or lead list used by list-based agents.
Q: What happens in Regie when a campaign member is manually removed in Salesforce?
A: If they are deleted, then they will be removed from regie. But if just their status changed, nothing happens.
Q: How would users disable a campaign status?
A: To disable a specific Campaign Member Status, uncheck the box corresponding with the status in the Agent Settings.
Users might choose to disable a status for several reasons—for example, if the Marketing team updates the list of campaign member statuses or decides to stop tracking certain engagement types.
For instance, if you originally tracked email opens as a form of engagement but later chose not to track them in HubSpot, you might also decide to stop tracking them in Regie. In that case, you would disable the corresponding campaign member status.
